As a student at Keiser University, I am working towards a bachelor’s degree in health information management to gear my career towards a position in the healthcare industry.  A culture of change was here when we went through the pandemic. It made me aware of my need to help people a new interest in the healthcare field. My many years as a small business owner has provided an education in customer service and communications.

I graduate at the end of August and plan to start looking for a position in Health Information Management. I believe I can be effective and choose to make healthcare better by improving patient care.

In the professional service industry for many years it has taught me excellent customer service skills, communication is the foundation for business. The plan is to merge those communications skills acquired from the service industry with my education in Health Information Management from Keiser University and to make a difference in better patient care.
