Dear Team,
I am taking a moment to reach out to everyone to express my gratitude for your hard work and dedication, you are all invaluable assets to our organization. Without you we could not be where we are today. I wanted to touch base with everyone on the use of effective communications as they are vital to achieving our goals within the organization as well as with our customer base. We can all benefit from enhancing our skills in communications. Below you will find a set of bullets that can help us all foster better communication practices. Allowing us all to create a clearer communication in-house and otherwise creates a happier environment for all.
• Be concise- thinking “short and sweet” helps to create an idea that the email should only provide essential information without the extra unnecessary to keep the focus on the basic needs of the message.
• Clear subject lines- helps to inform the reader of the what its about and the content of the subjects or prioritization
• Professional tone- remember though we are friendly we need to keep the tone professional. Be mindful of the audience to keep the message appropriate.
• Highlight key elements- this helps keep the most important parts of the email in plain view.
• Proofread before sending- This allows you to recheck that all is clear and easily understandable.
In closing I would like to thank you all for your work and your cooperation in effective communications. Thank you for your attention in refining our messaging practices.
Best Regards,
Paulette Lopez
